Where Do You Place Your Trust?
March 13, 2016 7:14 am
Good morning (Sak Pasé),
I woke up this morning to remind someone reading this blog not to put your trust on people but God. I have been disappointed with people in the past and when I say people, I’m also referring to those who were close to me. After many experiences of dealing with leaders, some family members, friends, employers, and so forth. I’m now making this declaration today to encourage you to put your complete trust in God.
I know that it’s not easy to trust someone that you can’t see. You probably have not seen His power manifested in your life yet. And I understand if you have not been there. However, I want to reassure you that if you seek Him then you will find Him. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14). What I think is important to some of you who don’t know Jesus Christ personally is to work on your faith.
If you have faith that when you go to drive your car and your car brings you everywhere, this is the same faith you need to have with God. Once you accept Christ to come in your life, then the Holy Spirit will be your guide and will communicate with you through your spirit. The trinity is so crucial to believe if you want to have a walk with God. Jesus was humbled enough to ask the father (God) on our behalf if we can have something that we want in life.
For example, after you received Jesus in your life and filled with the Holy Spirit, when you pray the Holy Spirit will bring the request to Jesus and Jesus will intercede on our behalf to God. It is not complicated if you applied the Bible with your faith and trust in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. You can read more about it in John 14, the whole passage.
You don’t have to put your trust on any politicians or believe certain promises that have been made by people. Don’t get me wrong, some people can be trusted, but you need to have the spirit of discernment before you can trust others. Trust the power of God to see you through in this life and your own personal life. You can’t live this Christian life for people, you have to know who you are and why you were created to be. For example, I have this website to encourage myself and others in our Christian walk with God. You too can do something similar or different by spreading God’s message because He called each and everyone of us to be an ambassador/disciple of Jesus Christ.
Man will fail you, but Jesus will never. Some people have tried to contradict the word of God and have said “If God loves me then why he allowed certain things to happen to me.” We need to stop playing the victim and start saying “Thank you Lord for letting these things happened to me, because you could have stopped them if you wanted to, but you allowed them to come to past to see if I will continue to love you no matter what.”
In spite of what I’ve been through in life, I will continue to give God the glory and praise. God is looking for someone that He can trust in good and bad times. Are you this person?
In His love,
